As usual, very cool self portrait. Like David says, the black and white was perfect for this. Are you upset because your hands are so big? Haha! Just kidding ;)
Wow - been digging through heaps of your photos, and I must say, I am loving your self portraits. Not sure whether I'm more impressed with your penchant for a quirky composition or your gorgeous features.
david - thanks! the news wasn't too happy - i just found out my best friend won't be returning to school this semester...:(
derrick - lol! yup...it's hard being a girl with big hands...;)
stray - thank you very much! your comments are very flattering. actually, last night i showed a friend the self-portraits on the site and he didn't even recognise me! perhaps the angles i see myself from look a lot different than the angles everyone else sees...
Its interesting how easy it is to spot a self-portrait done when the subject is holding the camera. There's a certain look about it. Once you get done with that look it would be interesting to see what you could do with the camera either on a stand, or in quirky places.

I hope the news wasn't all that bad! Nether the less these are still well taken portraits - nice angles and the B&W adds feeling. cheers
